I am a Spanish Language Instructor with over 11 years of experience teaching students through personalized, engaging, and goal-oriented instruction. As a native Spanish speaker who is also fluent in English and Portuguese, I understand both the challenges and opportunities involved in learning another language. I have extensive experience teaching in virtual and one-on-one environments, adapting lessons to each student’s level, learning style, interests, and objectives. My goal is to help students develop practical communication skills, confidence, accuracy, and a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures. I also use technology and AI-based resources when appropriate to create more interactive, relevant, and personalized learning experiences.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is personalized, communicative, structured, and practical. I believe students learn Spanish most effectively when they actively use the language rather than simply memorize rules. I adapt each lesson to the student’s proficiency level, goals, interests, and learning pace, combining conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, pronunciation, and cultural context. I encourage students to communicate from the beginning while providing clear explanations and constructive feedback that help them understand their mistakes and improve naturally. I also incorporate real-life situations, authentic materials, interactive activities, and technology to keep lessons relevant and engaging. My objective is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking Spanish, asking questions, making mistakes, and progressively becoming more independent and confident users of the language.
