Hola! Soy tu tutora Nadine. Es un gusto conocerte. I am a native English speaker who learned Spanish as an adult, just like you! After trying the traditional approaches without much success, I started to explore innovative ways to learn the language to achieve conversational fluency. Now, I'm delighted to be able to share my method with you and help you reach your Spanish goals! I have been bilingual (Spanish/English) for 15 years and bring a unique perspective for my learners, given that I understand their native-English-way-of-thinking and can explain new concepts in a way that makes sense and is applicable in real life conversations. My approach is largely conversational but we can also work on grammar, writing, or whatever you need, if you have any specific preference. I look forward to working with you!
Teaching Style
I use a Neurolanguage coaching approach - addressing common doubts and insecurities that tend to arise when learning a new language as an adult. I also share my knowledge on how the brain processes languages, in order to help you understand how to learn more efficiently. My classes are personalized and I believe that a fun, engaging classroom experience activates key learning centers of the brain, providing faster results.
